Harvest Home Concert

For some Thanksgiving means going home,

and we have long known that this is not always easy.
While there is no denying where we are from,

we may not feel that we fit in there as we used to.

Most of us are not from midtown and there are times
when we may have felt lost and homeless in the city
Yet, many of us have found a place here
that is more home to us
than that place where we were born.

It is a gracious word that tells us that
home is not only where we come from,
but where we are going to-
where we are known, loved and welcomed.
